Basically, the target groups can be divided into advertising companies, advertising agencies, publishers and printers.
In advertising companies, it is primarily the marketing, graphics and production departments, or sales promotion, that are interested in a solution and process-optimized procedures. These departments usually consist of a relatively small number of employees with great decision-making authority (selection of printers, project partners, etc.). These departments are the link between suppliers, such as advertising and PR agencies, lithographic companies, production companies, independent subcontractors (text, conception, video, graphics) and printers. SKYCO solutions are priced in such a way that they can be approved by the budget or decision-making authority of these departments and can be justified by the proven process savings.
Advertising companies work relatively independently on advertising budgets, but have to integrate customers directly into the process flows for coordination. Many agencies do not yet have agency management or work with homegrown solutions. Increasingly, clients also have their own graphics departments that are involved in the overall process. For print shops, coordination with the customer is a customer loyalty tool. Print shops, most of which have only a few employees, are dependent on keeping print data and processing as stringent and secure as possible for cost-saving reasons. Relatively new concepts, such as PDF workflow and CTP (Computer To Plate) also require a rethink on the customer side for the delivery of data. Quotations and invitations to tender can only be processed in a binding manner if all requirements are delivered in the form necessary for the printer. It is often more difficult for print shops to implement process changes for customers, as they then opt for competitors who show greater tolerance here.
